Nació hace 37 años en Dublin, California, Estados Unidos.
Comenzo a entrenar cuando tenia 14 años. Un años más tarde asistió a un torneo de culturismo y a los 15 años y medio comenzó su viaje por el culturismo competitivo.
Entre los 15 y 21 años compitió en varios espectáculos.
Durante varios años ha luchao contra un transtorno de alimentación. Una vez que se dispuso a tratar de superarlo no volvió a competir hasta que le problema se soluciono.
Durante esos años fuera de la competencia formó una familia, se caso y tuvo dos hijas que actualmente son adolescentes.
En el 2010 con la ayuda de su entrenador Hany Rambod y el apoyo de su esposo y sus hijas logro obtener su carnet profesional.
