Maria Mikola

Nace en Hamilton, Ontario, Canada el 15 de enero.

Trabaja como entrenadora persona y en una tienda de alimentos saludables.

En la escuela primaria partició en atletismo y en gimnasia, en la secundaria se centró más en la gimnasia y fue porrista un año. En su último año de secundaria se lesionó una rodilla y esta lesió le impidió alcanzar su meta que era competir como gimnasta a nivel nacional. Comenzó en etrenamiento con pesas para la rehabilitación de su rodilla, En la universidad practicó trampolín. Después de la universidad practicó windsurf. En los meses de invieno no tenía ningun actividad y para no perder estado físico iba al gimnasio.

Le ofrecen un puesto en un club de gimnasia en  Michigan, Estados Unidos por los cual se traslada hasta allá, encuentra un gimnasio y continua con la musculación. El propietario del gimnasio le habla de una competición de culturistamo, no sabía nada sobre ese deporte y es introducida en la competición.
